CREWMEMBERS THERE SENSE OF HUMORS & SAYING'S ARE JUST TOO FUNNY!!
There are a lot of thing's the crew has to endure while crab fishing and if everybody thought of the things that could happen to them then they would never get anything done.But for the most part they never lose one thing and that is there SENSE OF HUMOR!! If there is anyone with a sense of humor EDGAR HANSEN OF THE NORTHWESTERN stands at the top of the sense of humor list.
Edgar's sense of humor starts with his famous words of wisdom to Greenhorn Jake Anderson when he was about to get on the bad side of Matt Bradley.Edgar said to Jake "CHECK YOUR FEELING'S AT THE DOOR" Which i bout cracked up when he said that.
Another was when Edgar tells another crewmember "IS THAT WHINNING I HEAR"?? Then there is Capt Sig Hansen when the guys are getting tired and he knows it he will tape up on the door "SHUT UP AND FISH" which i think is just hilarious. Sometimes i just wished i could tell my crew that sometimes when i see them standing there doin nothing when everyone else is bustin pot after pot without whinning like KAYLE MYERS & KENNY HENDRICKS THOSE 2 DO NOT HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR i really believe that!!.
There is GARRY SOPER of THE WIZARD where he calls his Greenhorns his GIRLS which i just cracked up the first time i heard that.He said one time he has had his 5 and 10 yr old niece & nephew act better than some of the greenhorns act.
Capt John Hilstrand says he hates CRABASSES but he likes a great joke his is the fatal flour bombs he says it is a good eye opener for a greenhorn or crewmembers who loses focus on what the tasks are at hand.
The funniest thing i heard and i have heard alot while playing this game but what i heard from EDGAR HANSEN last nite when getting them back on board after finishing up King crab and getting to get the opie season started.Edgar chimes up and says.
I can not take 2 steps off this boat without bumping into a fan.This guy wanted me to pose for a
picture for his wife cause she is in love with me.Then Matt Bradley chuckles and says to Edgar
WELL THATS FAME.
