A SEA FULL OF CRAB POTS &CRAB BOATS & MANY OTHER BOATSThis is a featured page

Since 1905 the Bering Sea has swallowed 2,573 boats & ships like the Valdeze & the Ayu there arecrab pots & everything else that has been on the boats that has sunk.I watched a program where they were fishing for Pollak the capt of the Ocean Challenger said that they have snagged alot of debris when bringing up there nets such as crab pots picking hook boom and other items the Ocean Challenger fishes on the shelf also and this is where they find all this stuff but they were asked is they had ever had human remains and his response whether he was being truefull was no not ever.We cannot forget about the U.S Coast Guard who also has lost choppers in the Bering Sea one was when they were rescuing crewmembers from the deck of the Ayu they showed footage and they were taking to the coastguard cutter they were in a storms and the stern of the cutter was coming out of so far the props were coming out the measured 50 ft so the chopper had to compansate it so when the cutter raised up the chopper had to raise up .Butwhen they went back to get the rest of the crew something happened and the chopper went down as well and crasheed so a big rescue turned into a nightmare and now they had even more to recue THERE OWN MEN!! They were lucky a second smaller chopper took off shortley after they had left and was able to rescue all crewman and coastguard .4crewman of the ayu was lost to the bering sea when the ayu broke in half it spilled over 345 thousand gallons of diesel fuel it was the second worse spill in Alaskan history the Valdeze was the worst spill in Alaskan History.
